I bough RS Firewall before, and I'm considering also buying RSForm Pro.

But I'd like to know first if the following features are available.
(I checked the admin demo, but I was not able to verify the availability of the following:)


1. Is there a way for me as the admin to get emails once a new submission is added, and that email has all the details there were submitted?

2. Can the user also get an email that his/her submission was successfully received Including what he/she submitted? Not just a thank you email?


3. Getting my form submissions as Excel or Word files in crucial to me.
My forms are going to be in Arabic, and I tried submitting Arabic content in the demo. and it looks fine in the "manage submissions" section.
But once I export it to XLS or CVS, the text turns into a stange characters.

I used to have this issue with CK form which I'm using now.
and I had to go to phpmyadmin and export a excel or Word copy of the table. And the text looked good.

So my questions are:
A. Is each form submissions are saved to one table, so that if I export it via phpmyadmin, I get the whole thing in one table?

B: Is there a way you can this for me.
Add a subission in English, and then export it as Excel or word file via phpmyadmin. So that I make sure the text is sound.

this sounds more like a question for the official support team (see the option of sending in a ticket).
I know that the answer to 1 and 2 is Yes: that is possible.
The other questions I can't help you with as I have no experience with Arabic input.

Hello,

1. This can be configured (Administrator emails) in the Components > Properties > Form Manager > edit a form > Properties > Admin email.

2. For the user email configuration you should use User email tab.

3. RSform!Pro incorporates both CSV and Execel exporting features, but i would recommend using CSV.

A. There are only two submission tables for all forms: rsform_submissions and rsform_submission_values.

B. There is no need to export it via phpMyAdmin since RSform!Pro incorporates its own CSV export tool.

I did try both exporting to cvs and Excel via your demo site, but I get funny character for my Arabic text!

On the admin panel is displays well:
