The site is international so users have no overall standard way that they enter a date. With a text field users enter day/month or month/day even if it is explicitly asked to be day/month. Considering day/month/year dropdowns. Is there a better solution?

I am interested to know also. I notice it is quite common to use dropdown list for the date of birth.

Does anyone know how to specify a range of numbers to be output in the dropdown list?

Can anyone share some scripts that do date validation?
