Hello,

Why is it, that if you want to reply the admin e-mail, the e-mail is not send to the sender but to the admin's emailadres?
I use {Email:value} for the 'from' value.

You have to fill out "Reply to" field in RSForms with {Email:value} or any other email.
"Reply-to" is a mandatory value in PHP mailer since Joomla 1.6 even though it set as optional in RSForms

Yes, I tried that, but still also the admin gets this e-mail. (two adresses apear in the send-to field).
What I want is that only the user's e-mailadres appears in the send-to field.

Same problem here, were you able to get it solved?

Thanks.

Has anybody solved this problem?

It seems that the development team doesn't monitor the forum and use support ticket instead, but it would save so much time if they just posted the solution.

Hello,

This issue is not generated by RSForm! Pro but by the Joomla! 1.7 framework - the mailing class is expecting a "Reply-To" header before one is supplied (and adds one by default).
However, with RSForm! Pro R41 we have made a few workarounds for this (basically calling the mailing class and then stripping all "Reply-To" headers) and you shouldn't encounter any problems.

You can check the Joomla! official bug-tracker here:

Hi,

I am still having problems with this, I have the most up to date version of rsforme in both versions 1.5 and 1.7 of joomla. didn't have this problem before upgrading to newer version.

How do I fix this.

Has this been fixed yet? All of our staff uses the web contact form. When parents send a email to the staff and the staff member replies they reply to the joomla system admin email address and not the sender in the form.

How do I fix this?

Bit outdated topic but was helpful for me so just an update for others.

1. This problem is solved on newer version combinations of Joomla and RSForms. We have this problem also on a 1.5 Joomla version with RSForm but not on a 2.5 Joomla version website.

2. The answer of Octavian is a bit short since Virtuemart does let you reply on webshop emails also in Joomla 1.5

So basically we have to remember to change the "To:" box in outlook whenever we reply on RSForm emails. Or upgrade but we are a few months before stepping into Magento so thats no option.
