TOPIC: Clarification on Mapping

Clarification on Mapping 12 years 9 months ago #14413

I want to be sure I am approaching this right.

When I use the standard RSForms Pro to manage submissions, it includes some fields I did not create:

DateSubmitted
SubmittersIPAddress
SubmittersUsername
SubmittersUserID
Language
Confirmed

Although I had fields to do some of these things so I deleted the ones I created seeing I would have these as a resource.

Then I moved to a mapped table for the form. I created all the fields I saw in the RSFormsPro Manage submissions area which included the items above.

When I go to do my mapping, I see that these are not automatically generated so I assume I have to create hidden fields for this. Is this correct? If so, what is the syntax to make a hidden datetime field contain "now" as its value? Also the IP address.

I am not sure I have need of Language or a 'confirmed' field. What might be their value to others?

Thanks.
