Anyone experience this error message when doing a restore?

JFolder::delete: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
Restore failed. Unfortunately we could not find an XML file in the archive.

I need to move the developed forms from my server to the production server. Since the Backup/Restore isn't working for me, will doing a mysqldump of the follows tables accomplish the move?

Can you post how you solved it? I had the very same issue.

Thanks

Hello,

The restore was probably issued with the default Joomla! installer and not the RSform!Pro Backup/Restore feature. Please try to restore the backup via RSform!Pro.

i stumbled around this error for awhile myself.

then i re-read the error

"Unfortunately we could not find an XML file in the archive"

i was trying to restore with the actual XML file... not the zipped file.

because i was editing the xml file i simply re-zipped it once edited.

restore worked!

Trying to restore a form that I backed up from my development server to my production server.

Selected the backed-up zip to restore but get the error message:
JFolder::delete: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
Restore failed. Unfortunately we could not find an XML file in the archive.

The target folder, var/www/media is there and permissions are set to 777. Any ideas?

Found problem. FTP was turned "On" in Config Server settings. Turned it off and Restore worked fine.
