contact form with 2 mail adresses 14 years 2 months ago #12955

We have a cattery and business. The website i make is 2 in 1.
Can i make a contactform with a checkbox where people can decide if they want to contact the cattery or the business. If they choose for the cattery then the contact form has to sent a mail to the cattery or else to the business.

Is this possible?

Yes, Bruno you can do what you are asking. Please search this forum a little bit as there are several posts asking how to do that. You should not have to search very long as some are rather recent. Look for posts about email routing.

I have also next problem

Language string failed to load: smtp_error5.7.1 <{SendTo:value}>: Sender address rejected: not owned by user This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

What can it be?

The user email tab is optional. It is commonly used to send a copy of the completed form back to the user.

Bruno,

I searched Google for your error - smtp_error 5.7.1 and found that you need to configure your Joomla SMTP settings for authentication. That is, supply a user name and password. Go to Site -> Global Configuration -> Server and set your SMTP user name and SMTP password.

I tried the rsform example and everything is going well. I get the email and also the response email.

So why not with the email routing?
