TOPIC: Validation for Phone Number Field

I'd like to have a validation for the Phone Number Field that requires the submitter to use the XXX-XXX-XXXX format for their phone number. Can I do this? Please share how it can be done. Alternatively, I could place the requested format in the field name but this can be ignored.
