TOPIC: Update text field with value from drop down box

I have a form where we are populating a drop down with values from a custom table in the database. What we need to do is then update a text box with data from a different column in the table based on the selection in the drop down.

Anyone have any ideas on this?
The administrator has disabled public write access.
