Checkboxes not shown in Administrator Form Edit.

Editing an RS form submission in the Admin shows no checkboxes where they are expected.
They are converted to Select (List) Elements.
I have confirmed that this is a development decision, based on making large list of checkboxes easier to manage.
However it makes single checkboxes (of which we have quite a few in our forms) very confusing and difficult to manage (try unselecting a single list item for instance.. You cannot without the Ctl Key..)
Personally I think editing a form, should accurately represent the form used to create it.
I am surprised this has not been mentioned before as I have been told I am the first to bring it up, but I think Jakob Nielsen would be horrified :)
