Highlight request for "featured" events

I would like to be able to highlight "featured" events in the RSEvents! Pro » Events » Events menu item in the same way that the (Joomla) Category Blog layout allows you to display featured articles first.
The current menu item shows the event list correctly but I would also like to show the "featured" events at the top highlighted in some way (but leave them in the correct place in the listing lower down).
