Canonical batch function

I think it would be a great function if it would be possible to assign a canonical page also by batch.
My site has for instance boat pages and boat trip pages. The pages are rather identical as only the list of trips will change to details of trip. Per boat there are up to 50 trips, that would be served with a canonical tag. This is just one example but I guess many sites have similar constructions.
See what you can do, you would make me more than happy.
