Show intro text above event listing

I would like the ability to create a text and image that are displayed above the general event listing.

I wish to configure text/image per event category so I can display different intro texts for different event categories.

My reason is that the general event listing looks very naked without text above it.

I tried to add a static text but it remains there when clicking on a specific event. I want it to be hidden when I watch event details from an event.
