Feature Request - Disable inclusion of front.css

by peter76 on 19 May 2014 11:46 | 1215 Hits | 2 comment(s)

A site should be able to disable the inclusion of front.css, this file may be useful for some but it gets in the way of custom styling.

Please don't tell me to use more CSS to override all those styles, I'm quite aware of that option and thoroughly understand specificity and the cascade.

At present the choices are to ether edit front.css to remove the styles, edit helpers/rsform.php to not include it, or use another forms package.

front.css can be overridden through the template as explained here:
https://www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/rsform-pro/customizing-rsform-pro/how-to-override-frontcss-file-in-rsformpro.html

I completely agree with peter76.

Not only should it be very easy to implement for developers such as the RS team ones, but it should have been there a long time ago.
