JFolder::create: Could not create directory

I get a JFolder::create: Could not create directory when i try to install the component/plugins.

This is actually a message generated by the Joomla! installation and not by the actual component or plugin. Usually this error is generated because an insufficient file/folder permission.

It would be best to check if the administrator/components, /components, /media and the configured Joomla! tmp folders have sufficient write permissions. Try setting the permission to 755 and repeat the process.
