What does RSFirewall do ?

RSFirewall! - WordPress security component

The changing nature of Internet traffic, threats and business challenges requires a security solution that is purpose-built for today's Internet. There are a lot of dangers in putting up a Web page, from invasions of privacy to actual hackers cracking your security, so an application that helps you protect your site and your on-line business is a must!

RSFirewall! WordPress plugin

RSFirewall gives you powerful free/paid services management and web site protection functionality in one simple comprehensive setup, by bringing together professional username / password, read / write permissions protections as well as other server related configurations that can weaken the overall security measures offered by the WordPress platform. An aspect that most, if not all WordPress users, take for granted, is security. Although WordPress itself is pretty secure thanks to the security team that constantly checks for issues in the WordPress code, nobody (or, better yet, nothing) is protecting you from vulnerable WordPress extensions.

We've decided to launch a security extension which will protect users from coding mistakes that are such a commonality amongst WordPress extensions and prevent hacking attempts. RSFirewall! consists of an administrator component (this means that it can only be accessed from the back-end) and a system plugin.

The system plugin is the core of RSFirewall!, which sends alerts, checks data submitted by the user for known malware patterns or MySQL injections, checks core WordPress files for integrity and other useful actions.
