Square Payment Plugin
The RSEvents!Pro Square plugin allows users to pay for event subscriptions using Square payment processor.
The plugin can be installed like just any other Joomla! extension: Extensions > Install / Uninstall , browse the file and click Upload and Install. More details on the installation process can be found here.
As configuration parameters, (RSEvents!Pro > Payment Integrations > RSEvents!Pro Authorize payment), you have the following options:
- Application ID : your unique application ID, available in your Square account.
- Location ID: available in your Square account.
- Access Token: select from SqPaymentForm library or Web Payments SDK
- Payment Method: Each Square application holds an access token, this is also available in your Square account.
- (optional) Tax Type: Percent (%) / Fixed Rate
- (optional) Tax Value: numeric value for tax
Important!
Card payment acceptance with the Square app is currently available in the US, Canada, Japan, Australia, and the United Kingdom, you will need to make sure that you're properly configuring the component Payment Currency (Settings > Payments area) according to these areas. More on this topic here.
SqPaymentForm library is deprecated and you should use Web Payments SDK instead.
