Hi,

I have a website like this:

Visitors can see some webpages on the website (Joomla access = public)
Registered users can see more webpages (Joomla access = registered)
Registered users can also access DocMan (Joomla access = registered) to download files.

I would like to do this:

  • Registered users shall pay a subscription fee to see some of the webpages (content items or components) with joomla access = registered. Every 6 months or maybe every year a user needs to renew his subscription to see the protected webpages.

  • Registered users shall pay a fee to download a docman file. I need to set the fee rate individually per docman file.

  • Will RSMembership be able to help me with this?
    The administrator has disabled public write access.

    Hello,

    Yes, RSMembership can be used i this scenario but please note that it does not take into consideration the Joomla ACL.

    You can add content restriction based on the type of membership and of course file sharing. Note that you can also using requiring payments with the RSMembership! PayPal plugin.

    If you would need to set an individual fee per file.. you will have to construct a membership per file.
