Conditional Multipage Forms

by web.developer on 22 Apr 2013 14:35 | 4266 Hits | 5 comment(s)

You can currently make fields on your form conditional upon the selection of something else. This feature should be extended so that in a multipage form, the presentation of an entire page is dependant on a condition.

For example, Page 1 lets you check Apples, Oranges and Bananas. Each fruit has its own page with more questions. When you click 'Next Page', you'll skip over the page for any fruit that wasn't checked.

I am facing this same problem right now and implementing this functionality will save a lot of problems and allow for endless uses. Needless to say that the article on how to create a conditional multipage form is very simplistic (thus hardly ever practical) compared to a multipage form that is created based on a user's checklist selection on the first page of the form. I definitely vote for this to be implemented.

Very good idea. That could be very useful.
