RSEvents! is an event scheduling and management extension developed for Joomla! 1.5, 1.6 and 1.7. It is the ideal tool for everyone organizing events starting from individuals that invite close people to join a party to music bands organizing concerts or companies organizing meetings.
RSEvents! scope is to make event organizing faster, easier, and to give customers the tools to create events, invite and keep track of it's subscribers.

RSEvents! offers integration with the most popular web based services: Google Maps, Youtube, Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, Meebo, Imeem and Google calendar, thus allowing you to be up to date with the newest tools of the trade.
Customizable look and feel
Using a combination of placeholders (for various event information areas), themes and designs you can style up your event layouts with simple drag and drop actions. Just imagine that you can create a layout exactly how you like it without having to edit PHP or HTML files. Need a little bit more ? RSEvents! also allows you to use HTML and CSS for each theme component.
Category oriented organization of events
Your event listings do not have to crowded. RSEvents! offer event categorization and sub-categorization. It will even allow you to assign a event to multiple categories, ensuring that your visitors can quickly find the desired events.
Event subscriptions
Free or payed, RSEvents! does offer the tools to allow event subscriptions. You can set up various number of ticket types, coupons, allow overbooking and of course, online payments via PayPal, 2CO and Authorize. If you do not need to store subscriber information, you can allow guest visitors to register to your events without having the need to create an account (automated or not). Different events might require different subscription forms. Not a problem - RSEvents! integrates perfectly with RSform!Pro to allow you to create your own custom forms.
Community oriented
If you alredy have a site community and require a event management component that will integrate with the community application, then you should know that RSEvents! integrates with Community Builder, Jomsocial and Joomunity, thus making your site act as whole and not offer fragment services that can't collaborate with each other.
Invitations and notifications
If you stumble upon an event you can easily share it over social media networks such as Twitter for example or send out specific invitations to your friends. Contacts can be easily imported from your Gmail or Yahoo contact list. As notification emails, RSEvents! incorporates registration, activation, unsubscribe, reminder and post reminder options.
Sell online tickets to your events

Create your own custom event registration forms
Different events may require different subscription information. Though RSEvents! comes with a built-in event subscription form, this might not be enough in some cases. With the RSEvents! - RSform!Pro integration plugin you can create your own custom forms without having to perform any source code customizations.
Find events via the default Joomla! search functionality
Though RSEvents! has its own searching facilities, it is best to make your content as easily accessible as possible. Using the RSEvents! Joomla! Search plugin, you can display event entries when a search has been performed.
Ajax Search
The RSEvents! Ajax Search module provides a quick way for the user to find your events. The search results will be displayed on the same page without confusing the user.
Calendar module
The Calendar module enables you to display a calendar inside a template position. Upon clicking on day it will display the events from that particular date. The current day and days that contain events are marked with a different color.
Display event categories
The Category Events module enables you to display the events from within a category. As module specific parameters you can configure the category and number of events you wish to display inside the module.
Advanced event search
The RSEvents! event search module allows you to search through the events hosted on your site. This is particularity useful when you have a large amount of events created. This incorporates a number or filters that can be aplied in order to produce more accurate results. For example, you can search by event category, locations, event start and end dates.
Slideshow for your events
The RSEvents! Slider Module allows you to present current and upcoming events as a slide show. To accommodate your needs, the module parameters incorporate two display modes (simple and advanced) and a set of color themes.
Display upcoming events
The Upcoming events module might prove itself handy when trying to increase the visibility of your future events. Flexible and versatile, you can configure your own display layout by using standard HTML and event specific placeholders.
