Joomla! 5 is out and it is important to keep in mind that this is an upgrade from Joomla! 4.4 and not a website migration. Now, we know that with the release of this new Joomla! version, you might ask yourself if RSJoomla!'s products are compatible with it.
The answer is simple. Yes.
All our Joomla! Extensions are compatible with Joomla! 5. You will see the Joomla! Compatibilty Badge on the product page, for example:
- RSForm!Pro - compatible with Joomla! 3, Joomla! 4 and Joomla! 5. The same version can be installed on all these environments.
- All our Joomla! 4 compatible templates can be used on Joomla! 5 as well. You will find all the templates compatible with Joomla! 4 here and Joomla! 5 here.
Important! The Behaviour - Backward Compatibility Plugin needs to be enabled.
Note: we advise you to first test the upgrade on a copy of your production site.
