Images opens up in the same page and not in lightbox. Can't find any such options. Any ideas?

I am having the same issue with Joomla 2.5.6 fresh install, is this an issue with plugin ?

RSMediaGallery! works correctly out of the box. Please make sure you don't have Javascript errors on your page.
Our R2 blog post explains the jQuery loading options very well if you have conflicts. The options are also available in the documentation.

it only opens in the same page if you click on the title. If you click on the image, a lightbox opens.

ah and I forgot... you need to configure the menu item for the gallery with advanced option "open image in" and then select "slideshow" not "detail page". I guess the module configuration would be similiar.
