after upgrading cannot save categories, tags or post to blog. Also updated all modules for blog. Now getting Class 'Joomla\CMS\Application\ApplicationHelper' not found error when trying to save a category or post to blog

Joomla version 3.7.5. All was well before updating blog component.
The administrator has disabled public write access.
