TOPIC: Cannot save configuration

Cannot save configuration 1 year 1 month ago #17292

When I try and edit any configuration setting i joomla 2.5 I cannot save anything, all three buttons save, save & close and cancel when hovering all just show: www.xxxxx.xxx/administrator/index.php?op...&view=configuration#
The administrator has disabled public write access.
