I have created a form on my Joomla 2.5.8 site using RSForm Pro.
Having loaded and enabled the appropriate plugin, I created a blank K2 item and added in the embed code {rsform 3}.

When I view the page I get 3 copies of the form, the first 2 on a blue background with gridlines, the third looking like a K2 page with the form embedded.

How do I get rid of the first 2 copies?

Without a working link, it's hard to tell. My guess is that your K2 item is grabbing the meta data (description and keywords) from the article itself. Since your article only contains {rsform 3}, both the description and keywords will consist only of {rsform 3}. The plugin then kicks in and replaces all 3 occurrences of the {rsform} syntax with the appropriate forms.
If there's any way of disabling this automatically generated meta data (or overwriting it) from K2 then this is your solution.
