RSFiles! - Performing a new installation

Performing a new installation
Note: This method applies to RSFiles! component, plugins and modules installation.
  1. Login into the Joomla! backend administrator

  2. On the top menu, select Extensions > Install/Uninstall

  3. Click Browse and select the zip file you downloaded. Click on Upload File & Install

  4. If installation was successful, you should see this message

  5. You can now access RSFiles! through the Components menu
    6. alt
If the installation produces any errors, check if:
  1. The archive you were trying to upload is not corrupted
  2. The archive is being correctly uploaded to your webserver
  3. The following folder permissions are correctly set: 755 for /components, 755 for administrator/components, 755 for /media and at least 755 for the configured Joomla tmp folder
