Categories
This tab displays a list of all defined categories, offering the possibility of adding, editing or deleting. Categories can be used to organize events in front-end, thus making them easier to manage. By default, a category enables an "alias" option that is used for SEF link generation.
Since RSEvents! revision 16, color coding has been added to the category. Basically this will allow a user to identify the category of the event by color. The color coding will be used in the RSEvents! calendar view (if color coding is enabled in the calendar menu item.
In the latest release(RSEvents! revision 20) we have added sub-categories for events. You can now further group your events based on their subject/theme.
