If you encounter this error, please make sure that the email settings in Joomla! Global Configuration are correct. To test them, we suggest that you create a new user account and check whether the registration email has been sent.
If the above settings are correct, verify that the recipients emails are valid email addresses. Check for any mistakes in the email address(es), placeholders (if you have used them) and incorrect separator for multiple recipients (the correct one is new line).
