Ep. 80 - Using the RSForm!Pro payment package

This episode will provide detailed information on how to install, setup and tweak the Payment Package available for RSForm!Pro.

We recommend using the PayPal Sandbox mode for testing.

Important:

This plugin package is only compatible with Joomla! 3.

 

Step 1: Downloading

  1. Download the RSForm!Pro Payment Package from your RSJoomla! account -> Downloads -> My Downloads -> RSForm!Pro - view all available plugins and modules -> RSForm! Pro Files -> Plugins -> Payment Package (Payment Plugin + PayPal + Offline) for Joomla! 3.

 

Step 2: Installing

  1. In the Joomla! backend administrator panel, head to Extensions >> Install/Uninstall. After you have installed the package, make sure that you check the plugins statuses to see if they are published/enabled.

 

Step 3: Configuring the newly added RSForm!Pro tabs

  1. Once you have installed and enabled the plugins, go to Components » RSForm!Pro » Configuration » and configure both payment related tabs (Payment & PayPal).

 

Step 4: Setup your form with the payment specific fields

  1. After you have configured the payment specific tabs, you can start by adding payment fields within your form.

 

Step 5: Previewing

  1. The Preview button will redirect to the frontend area of your site from where you can test both payment methods (Offline & Paypal).

 

Step 6: Deferring emails

  1. The generated RSForm!Pro emails (User, Admin and Additional Emails) can be postponed until the payment is confirmed by the gateway.
