TOPIC: WidgitKit fails with RSSocial enabled

WidgitKit fails with RSSocial enabled 9 years 8 months ago #28291

When the RSSocial module is enabled a slideshow I have in Widget Kit appears blank. The module still shows full size, just no images. Soon as I unpublished the RSSocial module the slideshow reappears. Using the latest Widget Kit version. The module position for the Social module is absolute with another module position for the slideshow, so there should be no conflicts on the module position being used.

I get two javascript errors on the widgetkit when the social module is turned on. Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function
These errors go away once the social module is unpublished.

I've installed RSSocial on three other sites so far and I've had no problems until today with a site that has Widget Kit installed.

This looks like a Javascript conflict. Can you post a link to the page that illustrates this so we can have a closer look ?
