I noticed that all my blog articles have an extra post/ in the URL.
It was standard: mydomain.com/blog/xx-my-blog-article
Now it shows: mydomain.com/blog/post/xx-my-blog-article

Both still work, but this is not ideal.
I think this is after I update to Joomla 3.8.3 (but are not sure)

Did you end up finding a solution for removing the "/post/xx"?

I believe they are working on a solution for both of these issues as there was a change to the Joomla core that they weren't expecting/ready for... anyway I just decided to uninstall the plugin and use Joomla articles/categories as i could achieve what i was after with a little alteration.
