TOPIC: Adding thumbnails to file list

Adding thumbnails to file list 11 years 4 months ago #20040

My client wants to know if there is a way to show thumbnails in the file list. The users are used to another format where they can see a thumbnail of each file before clicking on the details/downloading it. I know you can see a thumbnail after clicking on the details link, but "they" want more...

Another option could be adding a "lightbox" link where they can pop up the preview.

That would be a really good feature.
Not every user moves his mouse over the filename to see the thumbnail.

BTW: size of thumbnail can only be set to a certain width. this makes landscape format thumbnails small, and portrait format thumbnails large.
