At our club, we accept new subscriptions and renewals by members that send us forms on paper with a check or money order by mail.

When these are new memberships, I (as the webmaster of our club's website) can create the account on the website by filling by myself the new membership form, choosing the "check / money order" payment option, and telling the new member to change afterward the temporary password I used to create the new account / membership. After that, our club's accountant can approve the transaction after the check clears at the bank.

However, when we receive membership renewals, it's more complicated. We can add the membership / renewal manually in the backend for the said suscriber, but there is no way to add manually a "cheque / money order" transaction associated with that renewal subscription. So then, our club accountant cannot approve the transaction, and the number of memberships / renewals Vs. the number of transactions associated with these within the year do not balance.

The only way we could do that ourselves in these situations, would be by resetting the member's account password, filling the form on his behalf using is account and the "cheque / money order" mode of payment, etc., and asking the member to reset again his password, etc. ; which we want to avoid when dealing with subscription renewals received by mail.

Would there be a way to be able to also create a manual transaction as described when we add a renewal in the backend for a suscriber ?

Thanks
