How do I set the column width and spacing between the columns?
Also what defines the full width is that inherent from Joomla?

Thx!

You will have to set custom css for your site. Share your page and where you want to edit spacing and and will try an provide you with the lines to add to your custom css. Please bare in mind that you might also have to set varitions for mobile break points as well.

I know this is wrong thread but just a quick question.

If I change to Bootstrap 4 everything looks better and also mobile view works like I want.
Though it messes up my joomla menu on RS Form page.
I really have no clue what I am really doing though. Responsive vs Bootstrap etc :)

PS! Can you change multiple fields in one go?

Thanks in advance!
BR, Peter

Hi Peter

I know that when you switch from Responsive to Bootstrap or vise versa then al classes will change. Main label and control area are the same bit normally proceeded with responsive, horizontal etc. If you have a style to a label for instance you may need to adjust the linking class to set to the new style. When you set a style for labels for instance it will effect all. However you can drill down further and set to each sepcific field to the field/clas name you create for each.

Padding and spacing around each will be the same.

What I really want is that I have 3 fields in (3col setup) Length, Depth and qty
This is repeated 10 times.

In mobile view I want the fields to get smaller but dont change row.

It gets really confusing for the clients when they are lined up vertically.

Is there an easy solution for this.

Thanks for your help! /Peter

Hi Peter

I guess the best way to achieve that would be to use 3 column option in your row block. Press the option button and select 3 columns. Add your 3 fields and drag to the relevant column in to row. Add a new row 10 times. You will have to give your fields unique names si just call then length1, length2, etc. The labels can be the same.

The only issue you will have is that these will go to full width files when on mobile so you will have to do some styling to prevent that for those rows.

Sorry I am back to old thread.

But it works down to about 800px then it breaks and skips row.
Confuses me though since most mobiles have higher res.

In my fields i need like max 4 digits but field is like 20char.

The fields should be lik length(längd), depth(djup) and qty(ant)
It gets really confusing when all lined up horizontally.

Tried to attach images but really cannot fig out how :)

You might need to make some media break points in your css.

Try setting some options for different media sizes.

depending on your css you can set to individual IDs, classes etc that will effect all elements throughout the site in one go.

If you have time you can look here so it is very clear.

I see that the form wraps well to mobile. But I guess what your having issues with is that you are wrapping the columns Längd, Djup, Antal with 10 options in each. If you want to keep them in blocks of the 3 elements then you need to build them differently so when they wrap they stick in their blocks.
Try creating the 3 options in individual blocks then repeating them 10 times.

This confuses me "Try creating the 3 options in individual blocks then repeating them 10 times."

You mean make 1 column and get 3 fields inline on same row? How?

Thanks for all you help!

I mean created each row as a block so when they wrap they will keep together.

I thought that was what was not working so well. If not then I missunderstand.
