TOPIC: Submission Directory - Message Column HTML

Submission Directory - Message Column HTML 4 years 2 months ago #39808

Hello People,

For my RSForm (contact) form I set to show / Use WYSIWYG editor . . .

When in the "My Submissions" view, and seeing the list of submissions, the "Message" column shows two (possibly) interconnected issues:

New paragraphs, (or line breaks if the editor is set to create a line break on using return key), are ignored - everything is on a single line.
Also, the html tags are displayed.

For example, if the submitter writes:

This is paragraph 1
This is paragraph 2
This is paragraph 3

What the Directory listing will show under the "Message" Column is:
<p>This is paragraph 1</p><p>This is paragraph 2</p><p>This is paragraph 3</p>

I have been trying to fathom this out for a while and am probably missing a simple trick.

Any definite method of getting the "Message" column content(s) to "respect" HTML without displaying the tags would be appreciated, as well as anything to be tested / tried.

Hoping a kind person can give some pointers, tips, or tricks.

Regards.
