Description: We'd very much like to be able to set up the active scanner to run on a regular basis via a cron job with the output (less the interactive controls) that appears on screen being emailed to a specified email address. The active scanner is great, but it only catches suspicious code when run and given that you ave to run it manually, that presents a problem for quality security practices. Receiving the active scanner report via an email allows for a quick review and if something new is out of place, an admin can log into the web site and take actions (such as running the active scanner manually to confirm the results).]]>

Description: It would be useful to be able to control which departments a user can see based on the membership in ACL. We envisage this being an ACL drop down allowing the department to be included in the Departments drop-down in similar ways as are used for menus, modules articles etc throughout Joomla!. We manage engagement with clients in different ways through the ticket system. We would like to be able to make some departments only accessible to users who have certain relationships / membership in the site. Some of our tickets are about managing support on software and custom apps, but other engagements are around online study. Description: This would allow a syndicate of users, or a user's manager to be added to a ticket by a handler, so that all the attached people would receive emailed replies and be able to browse tickets opened by one member on their ticket list. We had this functionality in a now defunct product we used, and it proved extremely powerful in allowing us to manage educational support with syndicates, responding to group submitted work etc. As developers, it meant more than one party at a client can engage and submit and view tickets entered by one staff member, to manage visibility of change requests etc. This might also address the separate request "Accept e-mail replies from a secondary e-mail address" by stefan7 from April, allowing a user to receive and respond to messages on more than one account.]]>

Description: We fairly often have a ticket history for a user at one email address and then the user starts a new tickets or tickets from a new email address. We'd like the ability to merge user's tickets history. Something as simple as selecting user A and then user B and have all tickets associated with user A merged now to be under user B. Currently, our only options to accomplish this is to edit the SQL database and change the user IDs associated with a ticket or set of tickets, which is not ideal.]]>
