Joomla! 1.7 is just a few days away!

A final Joomla! 1.6 version (1.6.5) has been released, fixing an issue encountered in the "Extension Manager Update", mechanism which will provide a seamless upgrade to the upcoming 1.7.

Along with this release, we've updated RSFirewall! with Joomla! 1.6.5 hash files.

If you're running RSFirewall! on your Joomla! 1.6 installation, we recommend updating both Joomla! and RSFirewall! to the latest revisions and perform a new "System Check".

Joomla! 1.6.4 is out! Aside fixing several security issues, the new release will provide an automatic upgrade to the upcoming Joomla! 1.7.

RSFirewall! has been updated with Joomla! 1.6.4 hash files as well.

If you're using 1.6 on a live site, we recommend updating both Joomla! and RSFirewall! to the latest revisions (Joomla! 1.6.4, respective RSFirewall! rev. 26) and perform a new "System Check".

1. Notification emails

The "Email messages" tab now has 3 additional emails that allows you to notify the administrator/the staff members when tickets meet certain conditions:

• for assigned & unassigned tickets: both notifications are sent when the number of replies with no staff response exceeds the configured number of replies
• a notification email sent whenever a customer submits a ticket that includes certain keywords.

RSEvents! revision 24 comes with new improvements and several fixes.

1. Guest and host menu as placeholders in themes

If the previous RSEvents! release brought the option to publish the Host and the Guest Menu in a module position, revision 24 comes with the ability to embed them in the event themes, using specific placeholders.
