We’ve released RSFiles! revision 6 with several backend and frontend improvements.

1. Joomla! 1.6 compatibility

RSFiles! is now fully compatible with Joomla! 1.6

2. Two new placeholders:

Starting with RSFiles! revision 6, you can use 2 new placeholders:

• {filepath}: can be used as a source URL for a flash player
  
• {FilesNumber}: the placeholder can be used in the “Themes” tab (Files, Download and Details Template) to return the number of files in a folder.

The new RSSeo! revision comes with 2 highly requested features : ability to create HTML sitemaps and the keyword density tool.

1. Joomla! 1.6 compatibility

We’ve updated the RSSeo! source code to be compatible with the latest release of Joomla! 1.6.

2. HTML sitemaps

Starting with this new revision, RSSeo! has a built-in HTML sitemap option.
Just select the menu items that you wish to include or exclude from the sitemap and hit the "Generate" button.

To publish the HTML sitemap in frontend, head to the "Menu Manager" and create a RSSeo! menu link or directly type in the browser window the site address followed by "index.php?option=com_rsseo"

We've released RSMail! revision 11 with new subscribe module features and an improved scheduled emails functionality.

1. Updated RSMail! Cron

With RSMail! you can send newsletters immediately or schedule their deployment.
Scheduling a newsletter requires a cron job which is useful when your hosting provider limits the number of e-mails allowed to be sent per hour.
Starting with RSMail! revision 11, we’ve optimized the newsletter sending algorithm to improve the cron functionality.

Today we’ve released an exciting plugin addressed to all WordPress users that want to migrate their blog to Joomla!: RSBlog! WordPress Plugin. This plugin allows you to import the WordPress blog posts directly to RSBlog!

Step 1:

First, access your rsjoomla.com account and download the RSBlog! WordPress Plugin from Resources >> Customer Downloads >> RSBlog! membership >> Downloads >> Plugins >> “Import WordPress posts into RSBlog!”

We’ve designed 2 elegant Twitter and Facebook auto-publishing features that allows you to automatically update your Twitter status and Facebook wall without requiring further user information.

To enable the Twitter auto-publishing feature, in the Joomla! backend panel head to the "Configuration" tab >> Twitter and click on the "Setup Twitter automatically" button.
