RSMembership! allows you to impose content restrictions to ZOO items, categories and applications using the specific shared content plugin. After applying the restrictions, only users with active subscriptions will be able to access the ZOO content.
We have previously created the memberships without imposing any content restrictions.
Step 1: Download the ZOO plugin
- Head to Resources >> Customer downloads >> RSMembership! >> Shared Content plugins >> ZOO
Step 2: Install the ZOO plugin through the default Joomla! installer
Step 3: Restrict ZOO items
- 1. In the Joomla! backend panel, edit the membership that you want to restrict.
- 2. In the "Shared Content" tab, click on the "Add content" button.
- 3. Choose the "ZOO article" option to restrict the content.
- 4.The access to the ZOO item is now restricted.
Step 4: Restrict ZOO categories
- 1. In the Joomla! backend panel, edit the membership that you want to restrict.
- 2. In the "Shared Content" tab, click on the "Add content" button.
- 3. Choose the "ZOO category" option to restrict the content.
- 4. The access to the ZOO category is now restricted.
Step 5: Restrict ZOO applications
- 1. In the Joomla! backend panel, edit the membership that you want to restrict.
- 2. In the "Shared Content" tab, click on the "Add content" button.
- 3. Choose the "ZOO application" option to restrict the content.
- 4. The access to the ZOO application is now restricted.
