Ep. 54: How to import Facebook events to RSEvents!

You can easily import events from Facebook and Google Calendar using
the "RSEvents! Synchronization Module". This module includes 2 applications: Google Calendar and Facebook Events.
To be able to import events to RSEvents!, you must configure first the "Synchronization Module".

Step 1: Configure the "Synchronization Module"

1. Head to RSEvents! >> Settings >> Dashboard and make sure the "Synchronization Module" is published on the Dashboard.
2. In the "Synchronizations" tab, configure the Facebook application:
- choose the RSEvents! category where the Facebook events will be imported;
- choose the RSEvents! location where the Facebook events will be imported;
3. Save the configuration.
4. Click on the Connect button to allow RSEvents! to import events from Facebook.

Step 2: Add the Facebook events to RSEvents!

Once you have finished creating a Facebook event, head back to the Joomla! admin panel and click on the "Facebook Events" icon from the "Module Syncronization".
In frontend, the imported events will have the default design and theme.
