Ep.23 - RSFiles! - Joomla! download manager - backend overview
In this episode we will make a backend presentation for the Joomla! download manager - RSFiles!
You can test RSFiles! on RSJoomla!'s demo server: frontend or backend, discuss about the component on our forum or Ask a private question to our support team.
1. To access RSFiles!, in the backend Joomla! panel head to Components -> RSFiles! -> Files
2. The Files tab allows you to upload new files to the specified root folder and create folders.
- set permissions;
- add download mirrors;
- set the download method - directly from the site or by email;
- add file description;
- enable statistics: total downloads, date, IP and username;
For a shared file you can:
3. From the Licenses tab, you can set license texts.
4. The Groups tab allows you to create user groups and set download permissions for them.
.5. With Themes you can create your own download interface.
.6. The Settings tab allows you to control Frontend display, files and emails (admin emails and download emails).
