Ep. 20 - How to add article restriction to a Joomla! membership site with RSMembership!
With RSMembership! you can apply 5 types of restrictions to a Joomla! membership site: folders, articles, sections, category, URL.
Let's see how you can add restrictions to an article following some simple steps.
1. In the backend Joomla! panel, head to Components -> RSMembership! -> Memberships
2. Select the membership for which you want to apply restrictions.
3. Choose the "Shared Content" tab (the 4th tab from the left) -> Add Content
4. In the window that just opened click on "Content(Articles)" and select the article that you want to restrict.
In this step, you may also set a redirect URL for users that don't have the appropriate membership.
5. After applying these settings, the restricted article can be accessed only by users with an active membership.
You can test RSMembership! on RSJoomla! demo server: frontend or backend.
