Error building admin menus

When i install RSEvents! i get a Error building admin menus error and it is not listed in the Components area.

This is actually a common issue reported by Joomla! 1.6 / 1.7 users, and directly relates to the com_installer component (built in Joomla! component that handles installs) then to RSEvents!.

The component actually installs properly, but the back-end access menu items are not published. This can be easily resolved by accessing the following URL and running the installation procedure again:

http://site.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_rsevents&task=cleanup
