Groups are groups of permissions that you setup for your staff members. You can setup permissions so that it will reflect the activity of the designated staff member (eg. Administrator, Technical Staff, Licensing Staff).

- Name: This is how the group will be named throughout the site.
- Can add ticket: The staff member will be able to submit a ticket on behalf of himself.
- Can add ticket on behalf of users: The staff member will be able to submit a ticket on behalf of any Joomla! user that is not a staff member.
- Can add ticket of behalf of other staff members: The staff member will be able to submit a ticket on behalf of any Joomla! user that is a staff member.
- Can update ticket: The staff member will be able to modify the ticket subject, priority and custom fields (if any).
- Can delete ticket: The staff member will be able to delete the ticket.
- Can add ticket replies: The staff member will be able to reply to the ticket.
- Can delete ticket replies: The staff member will be able to delete his own replies.
- Can update ticket replies: The staff member will be able to update his own replies.
- Can assign tickets: The staff member will be able to assign tickets to other staff members.
- Can change ticket status: The staff member will be able to change the status of the ticket.
- Can see unallocated tickets: The staff member will be able to see all tickets that are not assigned to any staff member.
- Can see other tickets: The staff member will be able to see all tickets that are assigned to any staff member.
- Can move ticket from one department to another: The staff member will be able to move the ticket from one department to another.
Note: For a group to be created, it needs to have a name and at least one permission selected.
