We are all grateful for the new Joomla! 1.6 version and can't wait to make use of its new features and capabilities.

The new version comes with cool new features for all of us:

• an increased template flexibility for designers
• new ACL structure for developers
• improved backend usability for administrators and webmasters as well.

The rsjoomla.com team has been preparing for this for some time. All of our extensions will be 1.6 compatible in the near future (except for RSform! and RSTickets! light, which will not be available for Joomla! 1.6).

We’ve released RSFiles! revision 6 with several backend and frontend improvements.

1. Joomla! 1.6 compatibility

RSFiles! is now fully compatible with Joomla! 1.6

2. Two new placeholders:

Starting with RSFiles! revision 6, you can use 2 new placeholders:

• {filepath}: can be used as a source URL for a flash player
  
• {FilesNumber}: the placeholder can be used in the “Themes” tab (Files, Download and Details Template) to return the number of files in a folder.

The new RSSeo! revision comes with 2 highly requested features : ability to create HTML sitemaps and the keyword density tool.

1. Joomla! 1.6 compatibility

We’ve updated the RSSeo! source code to be compatible with the latest release of Joomla! 1.6.

2. HTML sitemaps

Starting with this new revision, RSSeo! has a built-in HTML sitemap option.
Just select the menu items that you wish to include or exclude from the sitemap and hit the "Generate" button.

To publish the HTML sitemap in frontend, head to the "Menu Manager" and create a RSSeo! menu link or directly type in the browser window the site address followed by "index.php?option=com_rsseo"
