Add more than one file list to a site 2008/03/06 00:34 Karma: 0
I've installed one instance of RSFiles and have created a very nice download site for some users to use. I would like to add another download page to the same site. Can I do this buy purchasing another license or is there a limit of one page per site. Thanks. Steve

Hello,

I have the same request!

Want to create 2 different download pages on one website.

Thanks for your assistance.

You can make as many download areas as you want. Just make a new folder, and reference the folder in the content item. Or, if you want to have the same downloads in the different content items, just reference the download folder where ever you want it to appear.

Thanks much for the response. Your solution will work nicely for multiple download links. Another need is to set up menu items that allow users to upload to specified folders (e.g., to share images or data files). My understanding is that all files uploaded with RSFiles wind up in one folder. Then, they have to be manually moved to separate folders for downloads.
