default category settings 2008/02/20 03:08 Karma: 0
Hi,

I don't know if it's possible to do it..

add a global by default setting for the:

What Group can Post the ads?
What Group can Edit the ads?
What Users (beside the groups, if any) can Edit the ads?(optional)
What Group can View the ads?

so when adding a new category those setting will be already set and keep the possibilities to modify it (same method as now) if we want different settings for a specific category.

thanks

Why not copy a category that has the defined access desired? Heck, If you have enough diversity, I would suggest keeping an array of categories to be used for templating.
