Feature needed;RSEvents combined ticket limit 1 year 4 weeks ago #17218

RSEvents really needs an overall combined limit for events. Having only limits for each type of ticket is problematic for many events.

Our Club hosts several events and the admission price is different for members and non-members. However, we are not selling seat tickets like baseball games; everything is "general admission." Since we don't know how many members and non-members will attend, we cannot set meaningful limits on a ticket basis. More importantly, we can and will exceed our overall capacity.

I would think this would be an easy feature to incorporate since it merely counts the number of registrations, then cuts off registration when an overall limit is reached. That functionality is obviously used to set limits on a ticket basis.

Please consider adding this feature soon. For many events and customers this isn't just a convenience, it's mission-critical. It certainly is for our Club.
