Is there a way to have a signup form inside of a module? Not the lightbox/modal, but similar to the form on RSJoomla's website (see below under socialize). Only difference I would like it to be two part, name & email.

One of the uses for the blog is for newsletters. I'll be creating a newsletter category. This is what they will be subscribing to.
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Unfortunately this isn't currently possible with the default RSBlog! functionality, but we are taking this into consideration for future revisions.
