I am noticing that the keyword position is very different in RSSEO vs where my site shows up when I actually do a search on google.

Where does the keyword position data come from? and why is it not very accurate.

I am in the USA and my setting is for google.com(International)

One feature request I have is to have a "History" of our rankings for specific keywords.

Great tool, just would like to know if there are any settings I can make to have it be more accurate on the keyword positions.

lahmanwokard OFFLINE Fresh Boarder Posts: 3	Every Keyword tool out there are simply inaccurate. These keyword tool either pull data from Wordtracker or Google. So use it for some ideas only. Google officially announced that more than 70% searches are unique and long tail. Best keyword tool? Human brain.... just think like your visitor/customer/prospects ... you can come up with huge list of long tail keywords
