TOPIC: Suggestion: Central black listing file

Suggestion: Central black listing file 9 years 7 months ago #28600

We are using RSFirewall on several domains on the same server - quite successfully :)

This brought us to the idea that it might be helpful to have a central file for the blacklisting that can be used by several domains, e.g. in /vhosts/ instead of /vhosts/mydoaminA/httpdocs plus vhosts/mydomainB/httpdocs

Basically - from our non-programmer understanding - all this would take is adding a field where the absolute path for the "Blacklisted IP File" is set. Well - that wouldn't work, if the IPs are stored in a MySQL table, of course. Then it might become a little more complicated.... B)

Just a thought. Thanks.
